Witch - Maps & Atlases
Going to this band’s secret show tonight in Brooklyn! I recently got into Maps & Atlases because a friend of mine was introducing me to this genre of music called Math Rock, which is music with weird time signatures that are usually uncommon in typical Rock/Alternative. The result is an odd and progressive sounding music that is unique to whatever I’ve heard before. That’s why I really dig Maps & Atlases specifically because of this weird sound. This is the first “secret show” I’ll be going to, and it shall be an interesting venture!

“Hey Brooklyn, we’ll be playing the Silent Barn on Friday April 16th. Zona Mexicana ande Blissd Out will be joining us there; show starts at 8pm. It’s an all ages show and tickets can only be bought at the venue ($7) which is at 915 Wyckoff Ave, Ridgewood/Bushwick, Queens/Brooklyn, NY.”
